It's a scorching hot day in Rome today, and I, Elena, the content manager of MOOPS® , sit down with brand founders Nico and Gabri for a short interview. Despite the scorching heat, the atmosphere is vibrant, fresh, and colorful, like the world of accessories they're creating.

How did the idea for MOOPS® come about? 💡

We are two Roman friends in the film industry. Tired of daily stress, we were looking for a way to express our creativity and find a balance between work and life... One evening, we had an idea: double-sided earrings to easily change looks, like changing scenes in a movie. Thus was born MOOPS®, a brand that combines creativity and flexibility. Now everyone can be the director of their own style, every day.

If MOOPS® were a person 🤸‍♀️, what kind would it be?

MOOPS® is like the best friend everyone wants: stylish, creative, and adaptable. It makes you feel special with impeccable style advice. It knows the latest trends and makes them easy to wear.

MOOPS® has a heart of gold, just like the 18K plating of our earrings . Their infectious energy brings freshness wherever you go. With them, every day is an adventure and every outfit a style statement. The bright colors and bold combinations of our earrings express this vivacity.

The first launch 🚀: more adrenaline or terror?

Our first launch was an intense experience. We were excited but also worried about the public's reaction. We worked hard, often 10-12 hours a day, sacrificing sleep and free time.

We opted for a mini soft launch to test the market. Although the results weren't immediate, we saw the potential of MOOPS®. The enthusiastic feedback from our first customers confirmed we were going in the right direction. Now we're ready for the big launch!

If you could steal a superpower ⚡️from a comic book character for MOOPS®, what would it be and why?

If MOOPS® had a superpower, it would be the Powerpuff Girls . Why? Because they perfectly embody our mission: to offer beautiful, powerful, and versatile accessories.

Like the Powerpuff Girls' strength, our 18K gold-plated 925 silver earrings are sturdy and high-quality. They combat the boredom of everyday style with freshness and novelty.

What was the biggest craziness 🤯 you did for MOOPS®?

Getting MOOPS® into a major TV series! It seemed impossible, but we decided to give it a try.

We contacted agents, producers, and costume designers. It wasn't easy: sleepless nights, countless emails and pitches, and many rejections. But we didn't give up.

After weeks, we caught the eye of a costume designer from a popular TV series. And we did it! Soon, you'll see MOOPS® shine on screen!

This experience has taught us that with passion, determination, and courage, even the wildest ideas can become reality. We can't wait to share this moment with you!

Imagine having to explain MOOPS® to an alien 👽: how would you do it?

MOOPS® is a decorative ear piece with two interchangeable faces. It adapts to your style and mood, enhancing your self-expression and confidence.

If MOOPS® were a plate of pasta 🍝, what would it be and with what sauce?

Imagine a pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes and burrata. The pesto represents the quality of our materials, the cherry tomatoes the vibrancy of our collections, and the burrata the luxury and surprise that MOOPS® brings to the world of accessories.

What's the craziest (but most helpful 🔮) piece of feedback you've ever received from a customer?

A customer suggested creating earrings with magnetic fronts to make changing looks even easier. An idea that got us thinking about future innovations.

Last but not least: if MOOPS® were a song, what would be its current hit?

That would be "Happy" by Pharrell Williams . An infectious tune that reflects our mission: to make you feel happy and confident with your unique style.
